I think that would be a nice feature to have with the abundance of gold in dungeons of higher lvls.

Agreed. We will likely be adding a neat skill called the "Bling Gnome". This passive skill would cause a little gnome to follow you around (almost like a pet) and pick up your gold for you. Also, there will be an active component where you can have the gnome pick up all of your nearby items and convert them into gold for you.

Neat...gosh do I have to post something on a super much smaller skill bar(above the current one) slot for passives I mean c'mon...and I don't see how effective it is using offensive skills in the skill bar(for ppl who complain thats what would happen if they added more space to the skill bar) because either you have to click on it and or press an out of reach hotkey.

How about you be able to pick the colour and *gasp* outfit of your gnome? Perhaps even upgrade it into a leprechaun with a passive skill?

OHHHH I was a leprechaun following me around ... in his green suit. Think I like that better than a gnome ...

A couple of thoughts:

1) Bling Gnome should auto-pickup any gold, quest items (light blue) and relics, or at least quest items as well (clicking on 50 candy bars for that brat in town is old!)

2) Might I suggest a threshold for what Bling will liquidate (color). If I set it to, say, Blue, he'll only liquidate blue and lower colors, leaving the rest alone.

3) For items higher than the threshold you set, maybe Bling could toss them into your inventory for you to bank or trade later.

This will be a HUGE benefit for me - anything that reduces mad-clicking and makes things more keyboard-controllable makes the game easier for me. Wish it didn't take up a slot.

Define "Pet". If a ball of magical light follows you around and automatically sends items on the ground to your bank, do you consider it a pet? If not, how is a gnome/leprechaun any different?

Wikipedia's definition of a Pet: A pet or companion animal is an animal kept for companionship and enjoyment.

In this case, a gnome is used for practical purposes, not for companionship or enjoyment (although you could certainly use it as such, that is not its main purpose). Therefore, it is not a pet.

How about an option to turn off seeing gold too? I have more millions than i will ever ever need lol
