Place your Ideas for new weapons here

I like the the idea of a wood board with a large nail sticking out. I also think that if a level 5 player can carry the same type (look) of weapon a level 60 can carry it demishes teh accomplishments of the higher player. I thought that lower level players should be carrying smaller weapons. Or in the case of my Idea up top, maybe lower level chars start with a basic club, board of wood, sword, etc... and as they level up more is added to the weapon. You start with a plain board. after a few levels you can add a large nail (for more damage), a few levels after that spikes are added and it gets larger, etc... you get the idea. |

Exactly Al. It's a status thing. It gives players more goals to try and accomplish. I got a feather Duster the other day. Pretty darn good stats also. I'd also love to see rare (if not very rare) styles of weapons. How about a Swiss Army Knife. Edited by Skeave (04/11/07 05:30 PM) |

!!! Oh! EGADS! We need a two-handed tuna! One-handed broom Giant one-handed mug that has: COFFEE . Printed on it.  Come'on, out of all this humor and no giant two-handed pens? We all know its mightier than the sword. For casters I'd love to see a simple skull, heck its already modeled as a quest item. Just give it yummy stats and let us holds itsss.. our pressious! I'd like to see a simple one-handed sign. Wooden stick, white square board, peace symble printed on it. For grins, show bricks strapped to the other side of the sign.. or an obvious weight. Oh MAN do not even get me started on all the yummy one-handed food items players could hold! Popcicle! Pretzel! Movie styled popped corn box! Giant squirl styled lollypop! Massive Candycane! Thats a whole lota minty goodness right there Fun to look at mage styled items like; books, big waypoint scrolls, a large unlit foot candle and your standard crystal ball. Problem with too many unique looking weapons is that then such weapons become commonplace, and decrease the value of all unique weapons. |

baseball bat, fly swatter, oversized candlestick, a black dominatrix leather whip (i love that one!), spiked battle flail, bloody chainsaw, metal saves, oversized pop bottles, rolled up newspaper, gold grammy statues, L shaped lead pipe, lock-in-a-sock, crowbar, grenade launcher. Why stop at new, cooler looking weapons? Why not add helmets that look like pots, fishbowls, lampshades, collanders etc Armor that looks like a barrel, bullet proof vest, cardboard box, etc The limit for gear ideas is endless if one though about oversized items to put there...but how wacky those ideas are should still reflect the humor of the game. I've seen just about everything, either through drops or someone else wearing it. The only things I've yet to see are the armor on the signup page (which was apparently added a few patches back), and now these alleged guitars. Dont think the guitars have been added yet. I know alot of new gear/weapons should be in the pipeline though. Some cool names: Mighty Mug of the Drunken Dwarf / (Club (crushing) 1H - mug shape) Ancient Ogre toothpick / (dagger (piercing) 1H - toothpick shape) Big phreaking Gum / (crossbow 2H - BFG doom style =))) Ultimate Goblin Painkiller / (Hammer 2H (crushing) design a bone with a nail in the end (flisntons style). Please add more ideas for weapons, ill add some more later. |

Dunno if this is already in the works for the 1H ranged weapons addition, but I'd love to run into a room of mobs with a couple of six shooters blazin' - the Colt Peacemaker Cavalry, perhaps? And while we're blowing the fantasy setting outta the water, why not a full Wild West getup? Ten gallon hat, chaps, spurs, etc. |

I know 1-h xbows are on the way, and I am pretty sure pistols. Harpoon guns for rangers, if 1 handed add in a flounder for a shield. Axe handle and a trash can lid shield for fighters. A walking cane and tea cup (shield) for mages. -------------------- Pullus, Level 100 Ranger World 4. |

Hmm, something a little more serious, but some sort of larger staff for a mage, something 2 handed, that gives stronger bonuses, more int, end, and spell damage, to make up for the lack of shield. Make it sillier, like a giant candy-cane, maybe, but you get the basic sort of idea. Heh, keep it purple or higher, and have it start with Fladnag's XXXX of XXX |

Well..I'ed like to see some machine guns for rangers.. or pistols that could be duel wielded... for the warrior's I have to go with a weapon that would cause massive damage and lower everything on your target by 25%.. this would ofcourse be a nerf bat. |
